10 takeaways from the Ravens 1st unofficial depth chart of preseason

The Ravens released their first unofficial depth chart of the summer as the team begins preparation for a Friday night preseason matchup against the Eagles at M&T Stadium.

While it’s far from finalized, there are plenty of notable surprises at some notable positions, including cornerback and offensive guard.

Most offensive and defensive starters are known, but several key position battles and roster scenarios became clearer after Baltimore released a three-deep outlook for every position.

It’s unclear if Lamar Jackson will start against the Eagles or any other key starters.

Baltimore is scheduled for a Tuesday afternoon practice. Here are the takeaways and observations from the first unofficial depth chart.

Devin Leary may be the backup quarterback of the future, but he’s done nothing to separate himself from the veteran Josh Johnson.

Derrick Henry and Justice Hill are the noticeable 1-2 punch. Still, with Keaton Mitchell on the PUP list, veteran running back Owen Wright has the early edge over rookie running back Rasheen Ali.

The Ravens depth chart identifies just two wide receiver groups, and Tylan Wallace would make the team as the fourth or fifth wide receiver if the season started today.
