The Buffalo Bills have dodged a bullet, at least on the injury front.
On Wednesday during the 11th day of training camp for the team, starting left tackle Dion Dawkins left practice early and did not return. In the moment, it was unclear why.
The Bills have provided an update and Dawkins was not hurt. Rather, the 30-year-old had to attend to a personal matter.

Buffalo–team and fans included–will hope all is well with Dawkins off the field. The news of it not being injury related is still very welcomed.
The Bills have had an injury bug hit the team this offseason. Dawkins dodging that list is a positive update as he is slated to return to the field in due time. It’s unclear when exactly.
Buffalo will return to training camp practice on Thursday and have Friday off before hosting the Chicago Bears in their opening preseason game.
Dawkins made his third-straight Pro Bowl last season.
Without Dawkins, Ryan Van Demark took his place with the first-team offensive line. Dawkins’ Pro Football Focus grade of 73.7 overall in 2023 was the best on the Bills’ O-line
