The Birmingham Stallions have lost two offensive linemen to the NFL within the last two days. Armani Taylor-Prioleau has signed with the Washington Commanders, right after Matt Kaskey signed with the Los Angeles Rams.

Armani was an offseason addition for the Stallions in 2024. He joined the team during the USFL-XFL merger process, and impressed enough to land a roster spot for the season.
Including the playoffs, Taylor-Prioleau started in all ten games that he played in this year. He was a key piece to an offense that saw quite a bit of success, with QB Adrian Martinez earning UFL MVP honors. Taylor’s PFF Grades were impressive, posting a 75.7 Pass Blocking grade.
Armani is no stranger to the NFL. He’s had stints with the Browns and Cowboys, seeing minutes in a couple of games with the Browns. After remaining a free agent for some time following the 2023 NFL preseason, Taylor landed in the UFL – and made the most of his opportunity.

While he wasn’t officially named to the All-UFL list, Taylor was one of the nominees that was voted on by players, coaches, and media.
Now, he’ll have another opportunity to prove his value to an NFL organization, signing with the Commanders. Washington just released Alex Akingbulu, who formerly played for the Philadelphia Stars in the USFL.
Without the national platform that the UFL provided Armani with, who knows if this opportunity would have been possible. You can stay up to date with all UFL to NFL signings with our official tracker.
