USW Walks Away From United Football League (UFL) Partnership

XFL Draft Set for Nov 16 According to Anthony Becht

The United Football League (UFL) has seen a lot of changes since the merger began. The USFL came to the table with the first union in spring football, but it looks like the experiment may be over.

The UFLPA (formerly USFLPA) posted on social media that the United Steelworkers (USW) has withdrawn from the UFL.

The release goes on to give a warning to players to do a professional search on any newly organized unions posing to be “united”. This is seemingly a shot at the United Football Players Association that gained steam after the XFL folded in 2020.
