Not surprisingly, the Dallas Cowboys have added another UFL athlete to the roster. Michigan Panthers OL Cohl Cabral has signed with Dallas, as the 56th UFL player to make their way to the NFL this offseason.

Cohl Cabral was a new addition to the Michigan Panthers offense this year. He was originally with the Birmingham Stallions, but was released in Training Camp – making his way to Michigan off of waivers.
It was strange to see Cabral released by Birmingham. He spent the 2023 season with the team, starting in all ten games that year, helping the Stallions earn a Championship title. This resulted in an NFL stint with the Arizona Cardinals, before Cabral returned to Birmingham.
While Cohl Cabral is typically a center, Michigan put him at guard. Because of Noah Johnson playing at such a high level, Cohl wasn’t needed at the position. He rotated between left and right guard in 2024, with an impressive 71.1 Offensive Grade via PFF (65.3 Pass Block/69.8 Run Block).

Cohl is clearly a versatile lineman, and one who provides stability to any unit he’s a part of. With another solid campaign under his belt in spring ball, this time it’s the Dallas Cowboys who have come calling for him.
Without the national platform that the UFL provided Cohl with, who knows if this opportunity would have been possible. You can stay up to date with all UFL to NFL signings with our official tracker.
