The Baltimore Ravens drafted cornerback Nate Wiggins in the first round of the 2024 NFL draft. He showed off his skills in the team’s first preseason game and looks ready to perform once the regular season arrives.
Wiggins had a nickname bestowed upon him by fellow cornerback Marlon Humphrey in “Nasty Nate.” However, Ravens pass game coordinator Chris Hewitt isn’t so sure about the name, saying that his name is “Deuce” instead of what Humphrey put on the table.
“His name is Deuce. He’s No. 2. We’re not calling him ‘Nasty Nate.’
Horton was having fun with his answer, but if he had anything to say about it, Wiggins would have been called Deuce. Time will tell if the Nasty Nate nickname will ever catch on, with Humphrey leading the push.
