E.J. Perry once again finds himself back with the Jacksonville Jaguars for the third straight season. He’s been with Jacksonville every year since 2022, on and off of their practice squad. Now, he’s back in action with the Jaguars as preseason comes to a close.
Perry made a name for himself with the Michigan Panthers in 2023, taking the team to the playoffs after making his first start in week ten of that year.
E.J. returned to Michigan for the UFL’s 2024 season, and earned the starting gig over Danny Etling. He played the first four weeks, but an injury against San Antonio sidelined him for the rest of the year. Perry’s raw talent was on display in the UFL this year, as he was leading the UFL in rushing touchdowns prior to injury.
