Texas Longhorns QB Quinn Ewers is one of the biggest stars in college football heading into the 2024 season. The QB out of Southlake is a Heisman candidate, an EA College Football 24 cover athlete and the star of Dr Pepper commercials.

Back then, a transfer had to sit out a year. After a redshirt year and a transfer year, Rising was finally ready to play in his third year of college football. That year happened to be 2020, the Covid year. The first game wasn’t until Nov. 21 against USC. Rising injured his shoulder in the 2nd quarter and would miss the rest of the season.
Rising was beaten out for the starting spot in 2021 by Charlie Brewer. But when Brewer was benched in the third game of the year…
