It’s been a busy couple of weeks for the San Antonio Brahmas. They’ve made several cuts, while re-signing dozens – and also adding a couple of new faces to the roster. In their latest set of transactions, San Antonio signed eight players to Letters Of Intent for 2025.

WR Mathew Sexton
Just like that, Mathew Sexton finds himself back in the spring football scene. He burst into the limelight in The Spring League, dominating with the Aviators as a dynamic kick returner and wide receiver. This earned him an NFL stint with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
From there, Sexton landed in the XFL, playing with the Vegas Vipers in 2023. That season he totaled 364 receiving yards, which led to three different stops in the NFL with the Patriots, Falcons, and Dolphins – all on the practice squad.

Now, Mathew will bring depth, and NFL experience, to this San Antonio Brahmas roster.
WR Justin Smith
Justin Smith emerged as a legitimate target for the Brahmas this year in A.J. Smith’s offense. He spent the 2023 XFL season in Houston, performing well when his name was called upon – but it wasn’t until this season in the UFL that Smith earned more minutes.

In the UFL this season, Smith posted 264 yards and a touchdown. In addition, he had a big performance in the semi-finals against St. Louis, helping lift the Brahmas to the Championship game. His speed puts him…
