Second-year Colorado football head coach Deion Sanders has been asked this question all offseason: When will we see the uniforms? Coach Prime always responded with a smile and a “soon.” Defying conventional wisdom, the CU Buffs waited until the team took the field against the North Dakota State Bison for their season opener to debut their new look.
The Buffs are wearing all-black uniforms with gold lettering and a white outline of Boulder’s iconic Flatirons on the jerseys and pants. I’m a big fan of the new look, especially because the uniforms highlight Folsom Field’s picturesque views.
