On Friday, TE Jordan Thomas and DB D’Angelo Mandell both signed Letters Of Intent with the UFL. Thomas was re-added to the Birmingham Stallions, while the St. Louis Battlehawks added Mandell to their secondary.

TE Jordan Thomas | Birmingham Stallions
Jordan Thomas began his spring career in the XFL, with the Orlando Guardians. He recorded eight catches for 148 yards, and three touchdowns. His touchdown grab in week seven against DC is still one of the greatest receptions we’ve ever seen in spring football.

After a stint with the Carolina Panthers, Jordan Thomas landed in the UFL with the Birmingham Stallions. He was behind Jace Sternberger, so he didn’t receive a ton of targets, catching four passes for 75 yards in the regular season. However, he made a legitimate impact in the postseason – sparking a comeback win over Michigan in the semi-finals.

Jordan was signed by the Atlanta Falcons, but was let go during cutdowns. Now, he returns with Birmingham to run it back.
DB D’Angelo Mandell | St. Louis Battlehawks
Bringing some depth to the Battlehawks’ secondary is D’Angelo Mandell. He spent the entirety of his college football career at BYU, starting in 24 of 53 games played.
Across that span, D’Angelo totaled 88 tackles, with five PBU’s during his final two seasons. D’Angelo earned an NFL opportunity with the Dallas Cowboys in 2023, and then signed a futures deal with the Washington Commanders early this year. Now that he’s been a free agent since May,…
