There may be more college football action before Week 1 is officially in the books, but the Big Ten’s first weekend of the season came to a close with a statement win by one of its newest members. USC capped a big first weekend of Big Ten football by coming out on top in Las Vegas against LSU in one of the best finishes of the weekend around the sport. All four of the Big Ten’s newest members came away with wins this weekend, each doing so in a different fashion. And some of the top programs that were already in the Big Ten went out and took care of things this opening weekend as well.
