Penn State wasn’t able to get a single sack on Saturday, something that was a huge factor in the game as Bowling Green was able to carve up the Nittany Lions’ secondary. It wasn’t just the lack of sacks that was alarming, they generated virtually zero pressure on the quarterback.

Coming off a two-sack performance against West Virginia, the defense was hoping to build upon what they did in the opener. Instead, there are real questions if this front can generate pressure against some of the best offensive lines they’ll face this season.
