The Michigan Panthers made another addition to the roster yesterday. They’ve signed DB Gemon Green, who will be making his debut in professional spring football with the Panthers.
The @USFLPanthers continue to look to bring in more local talent and sign former Wolverine, CB Gemon Green.
Green went undrafted in ’23 and spent time with the Giants in ’23 and the Packers in ’24.

Gemon Green is no stranger to the state of Michigan. He played with the Michigan Wolverines for a few seasons, totaling 71 tackles, an interception, and 11 PBU’s during that span.
Green was an All-BIG Ten cornerback with the Wolverines, and in his last year had an impressive 78.5 Defensive Grade via PFF. This included an elite 90.2 tackling grade, as Green didn’t miss any tackles in 2022.
Following his college career, Gemon Green was signed to the New York Giants as an UDFA. He spent some time there on the practice squad, and was later picked up by the Green Bay Packers. Since being cut at the end of August, Green now looks to continue his pro career in the UFL.

General Manager Steve Kazor continues to bring in high quality pieces for the Michigan Panthers. Gemon Green was elite at the collegiate level, and is the type of prospect who has NFL-caliber potential with the right development. Considering Nate Brooks is now on the Cincinnati Bengals practice squad, Green could prove to be a necessary replacement in the secondary.
