Cowboys Sneaky Links: Parsons speaks on Zimmer, Potential Hurricane Francine impact

When the Cowboys lost former coordinator Dan Quinn to the rival Commanders, Dallas pass rusher Micah Parsons may have felt like he lost a good friend. Questions about how he new coordinator Mike Zimmer would mesh may be put too bed after his latest comments. It seems plenty of other Dallas defenders feel the same way. As for their opponent this week, whispers about a possible reschedule remain quiet but the NFL has acted under similar circumstances.

It may be too early for some to root for playoff positioning but for others, the easier road starts now. A couple familiar faces return to the their former home stadium while a positive business mindset helped Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott helped get him through the long negotiation period. Dallas used their 2018 6th-round pick on wideout Cedric Wilson and a 2022 fifth-rounder on defensive tackle John Ridgeway. They both return to AT&T Stadium this weekend as members of the Saints. For Dallas, New Orleans drafted Cowboys receiver Brandin Cooks in the first round, 20th overall, of the 2014 NFL draft.
