Kirk Cousins on Achilles, Zac Robinson talks pistol

Kirk Cousins had a lot to say on Thursday, addressing his injury and providing insight into how he’s adapting to the pistol. “The Achilles feels good,” said Cousins. “I feel like I can move and push as I normally would.” Cousins talked about his adjustment to the pistol formation, saying he might make an adjustment with his stance.

“I think I’m gonna square up my stance,” the Falcons QB told reporters. “Watched some tape of Peyton Manning when he was in the pistol and had success with it. He was kind of a square stance. [I] thought he looked pretty comfortable, had a pretty good rhythm to it. I thought I’m gonna try that. I was going back to 2013. I was in the pistol a lot when I was backing up Robert Griffin.”
