Ranking the Big Ten’s Week 3 college football matchups by intrigue

Week 2 in the Big Ten brought us a few must-see games, including the Cy-Hawk rivalry game, Texas taking down Michigan at the Big House, and Nebraska getting the best of Deion Sanders’ Colorado squad.

This week, the conference has Fox’s Big Noon Kickoff coming to one of its campuses when the pregame show visits Wisconsin this Saturday before its home date against Alabama. Washington and Oregon will face their former Pac-12 in-state rival, who is always set up to have tightly contested matchups.

UCLA will face its first Big Ten opponent when they host Indiana at the Rose Bowl, while Maryland travels back into ACC territory to take on Virginia. Fourteen teams are in action this Saturday, with Penn State, Ohio State, Rutgers and USC all having bye weeks.

Unless noted otherwise, all games are scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 14. All times are Eastern. The rankings referenced are US LBM Coaches Poll rankings.
