The NFL season kicked off last week with a ton of wild finishes and surprises, one that may not be a surprise to folks was what we saw out of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Baker Mayfield and company made a statement when they handled the Commanders on Sunday.
The Bucs will face the Detroit Lions in a rematch of their NFC Divisional Round matchup during last season’s playoffs. The Bucs came close on the road to upsetting the Lions, but a later turnover sealed the game for them. Now, with both rosters looking much different, this game will be a fun test and measuring stick for both of them as they look towards achieving higher goals in 2024.
