Watch as Saquon Barkley gets slimed upon receiving Nickelodeon NVP Award

What a week for Eagles running back Saquon Barkley.

First, a win in the NFL’s first-ever game in South America.

Then, NFC Offensive Player of the Week honors for the fourth time in his career.

Finally, to top it all off, literally and figuratively, slime courtesy of the Nickelodeon NVP Award.

Barkley scored three touchdowns in his Eagles debut, a 34-29 win over the Green Bay Packers, in São Paulo, Brazil on Friday night. Fans from all over voted Barkley’s performance as the best of the best in Week 1, worthy of the Nickelodeon NVP honor.

Along with receiving the trophy featuring the classic orange Nickelodeon kaleidoscope blimp, the winner is doused in the neon green slime that has been synonymous with the children’s entertainment network for decades. Barkley had the perfect person to conduct the coronation ceremony – his daughter, Jada.
