The Tennessee Titans and New York Jets meet at Nissan Stadium in Nashville this Sunday. Both teams suffered a loss in Week 1, the Titans going down to the Chicago Bears 24-17 and the Jets falling to the San Francisco 49ers 32-19.
The two teams’ losses happened in different fashions, with the Titans imploding in the second half and the Jets struggling throughout the game. Despite the Titans carrying the NFL’s number one defense in Week 1, they remain 3.5-point underdogs to the Jets, per BetMGM. The over/under also remains 110.
No doubt the Titans have their work cut out for them against the Jets as they are led by future Hall of Fame quarterback Aaron Rodgers. It’s hard for anyone to bet against him despite his inconsistent play in Week 1. He spent all of last season rehabbing an Achille’s injury, so there’s still some rust to shake off.

Still, the Titans are at home and boast the current number-one defense in the league. But the offense is run by a sophomore quarterback whose decision-making was questionable last week despite an improved offensive line.
There are many factors that go into determining betting odds, and right now, it’s clear that the Titans need to improve if they want to be favored in future matchups.
