JACKSONVILLE – This was rough. And baffling.
The Jaguars’ Week 2 18-13 loss to the Cleveland Browns in the regular-season home opener Sunday at EverBank Stadium was those things. It was disturbing and disappointing, too.
It was those things even though it was just Week 2 – and not just because the Jaguars are now 0-2 with the early-season schedule getting no easier.

One thing that is absolutely true is Lawrence hasn’t raised the play of those around him this season. He has not been special. He must eventually be special and he’s not that yet.
Who knew that hamstrings were going to be the Jaguars undoing this year!? This team feels like it is not allowed nice things.
Jaguars tight end Evan Engram sustained a hamstring injury in pregame warmups Sunday and was ruled out before the game. It’s a rare occurrence and I…
