Injury updates on David Njoku, David Bell, and more given

The Cleveland Browns won the war against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday, but plenty of players left the game with an injury. Tight end David Njoku did not play with a high ankle sprain, and wide receiver David Bell left with a hip injury were among the players who saw their names on an injury list.

And now as the Browns get set for their Week 3 game against the New York Giants, head coach Kevin Stefanski has given injury updates on a handful of players, including both Njoku and Bell. The Browns, coming off of a season with almost unbelievable injury luck, have not had a much better time in 2024. They have already placed five players on Injured Reserve and will have another on the way this week as well.

They may also, however, be getting some key contributors back in their lineup this week against the Giants. Here are the following injury updates given by the head coach as the Browns get set to advance to 2-1 on the season this Sunday:

Don’t rule him out just yet! Despite suffering a high ankle sprain a week ago, Stefanski refuses to rule Pro Bowl tight end David Njoku out. For a player who played through severe burns a year ago, don’t count out the possibility of Njoku wrapping up his ankle and getting back on the field.
