The San Antonio Brahmas made two important re-signings on Monday. They’ve brought back WR Jontre Kirklin, and punter Brad Wing who both will be back with the Brahmas for a second season in the UFL.

WR Jontre Kirklin
Jontre Kirklin will look to enter his third year in spring football, and his second with San Antonio. Kirklin was with A.J. Smith and Wade Phillips in the XFL in 2023, with the Houston Roughnecks. He was arguably the top WR in the league that year, before suffering a season ending injury in week five.
When the UFL caused the USFL and XFL to merge, Kirklin ended up making his way to San Antonio with his old coaching staff. Jontre had a brief NFL stint with the New Orleans Saints, prior to returning to spring football.

In the UFL, Jontre was an absolute weapon for Smith and this San Antonio offense. He recorded 56 catches for 614 yards and three touchdowns – and was the most targeted WR in the UFL with 87. Jontre consistently showed up when the Brahmas needed him, and he clearly was integral to the success of A.J. Smith’s playcalling.
The San Antonio Brahmas have officially re-signed WR Jontre Kirklin for the 2025 #UFL season.

After the UFL season, Jontre Kirklin spent some time with the San Francisco 49ers, but did not have any receptions in preseason. Now that he became available again, Kirklin will look to run it back with the San Antonio Brahmas.
