The service event, in partnership with 9/11 Day and AmeriCorps, was held in observance of the federally recognized September 11 National Day of Service and Remembrance and as part of the Eagles Community Tuesday initiative. The event is being supported by AAA, ACME Markets, American Airlines, BetRivers, Braskem, Campbell’s Soup, Chickie’s & Pete’s, Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, Comcast and NBC Sports Philadelphia, Crown Royal, Dunkin, Firstrust Bank, FMC, Hoffman’s Exterminating, Independence Blue Cross, Johnson Kendall Johnson, Lincoln Financial Group, McDonald’s, Nouryon, Philadelphia Insurance, Rita’s Water Ice, Toyota, Verizon, and West Pharmaceutical Services.
