Where does Joe Mixon rank among NFL rushing leaders after Week 2?

Joe Mixon’s home debut could have gone better than he hoped.

While the Houston Texans secured a 19-13 win over the Chicago Bears, Mixon’s status moving forward remains a mystery. During the third quarter, Mixon was brought down by an illegal hip-drop tackle by T.J. Edwards and suffered an ankle injury.

While he was able to return at the start of the fourth quarter, Mixon’s inability to cut led to just one carry for a gain of 1. He underwent an MRI Monday morning and is expected to be limited in practice this week.

“The guy’s weight definitely came down on his ankle. Didn’t look good from my view,” Texans coach DeMeco Ryans said after the game. “We’ll evaluate Joe throughout the week. Hopefully he’s OK. Have to see the film and see if it was really a hip drop tackle.”

While Mixon’s limited success didn’t help Houston secure a victory, he remains a top runner in the NFL per hist stats. Where does fall among the leading rushers in Week 2?
