Arch Manning’s first start is here! The Texas Longhorns hosted the ULM Warhawks in Austin at DKR to complete non-conference play.

Manning is starting for the injured Quinn Ewers, who strained his oblique last week against UTSA. In relief, Manning accounted for five touchdowns against the Roadrunners.

Manning looked a little jittery at the beginning of his first start, throwing an interception to the Warhawks defense. But Arch settled down on his next drive and starting lighting up the ULM secondary with several deep balls.

Manning set up a Jaydon Blue TD run with a 56-yard pass to Isaiah Bond. Arch then found Blue for the Longhorns second TD on a 3-yard pass.

Ryan Wingo was the target on the next drive, as Manning hit the freshman for a 17-yard TD. Another deep ball to Matthew Golden set up another Blue TD.

After a ULM field goal, Manning threw a fastball to Blue that bounced off him and into the arms of Warhawks defender Wydett Williams Jr.

Manning finished 15 of 29 for 258 yards with 2 TDs and 2 INTs.
