6 things to watch for in Week 4

The Buffalo Bills (3-0) roll on in their 2024 regular season journey with a matchup on the road against the Baltimore Ravens (1-2) at M&T Bank Stadium.

All week, topics and storylines have been discussed ahead of these two AFC foes facing off.

In the end, regardless of what is said by players, coaches, media outlets and fans, it always comes down to what unfolds on the field in the NFL.

And once the battle arrives, there will be a few particular things to keep in mind to look out for.

With that, are six things to watch for during Sunday’s Bills-Ravens matchup

The Bills are going to be on prime-time once again. Buffalo will be in Baltimore for “Sunday Night Football.” That comes after their last two outings were on Thursday and Monday.

It still just seems like yesterday that the Bills never got a sniff of a single prime-time game… let alone three straight.

But this one in particular could be good for the Bills. With quarterback Josh Allen under center, the team is 6-1, all time, on SNF.

It’s always going to be the case when the Bills and Ravens do battle.

Allen and Lamar Jackson were the two QBs from their 2018 NFL draft class that were the most overlooked. Now they’re looking like the best two. When such talents face each other, everyone is going to compare them head-to-head.

However, while the Bills offense just has Allen under the “star status” category, the Ravens do not just have Jackson. Baltimore signed running back Derrick Henry this offseason. That two-headed monster is going to be a tough battle for any defense despite the Ravens’ current record.

Not to mention, Henry has had his moments against the Bills while he was with the Tennessee Titans (re: Josh Norman stiff arm, etc.).

If there is a pair for the Bills in regards to a two-headed monster, it’s Allen and momentum.

After Buffalo dismantled the Jacksonville Jaguars 47-10 on “Monday Night Football,” no team in the NFL is hotter. That’s the type of thing that head coach Sean McDermott has to tap into heading into this top AFC matchup… especially because this outcome could weigh heavy when the playoff picture starts to round out later this season.
