DURHAM, N.C. – In continuing Duke University’s celebration of its centennial, the Blue Devil football team will be part of a once in a century Homecoming. Throughout 2024, Duke has provided a historic opportunity to recognize its extraordinary past, communicate the impact of the present and look toward the potential of its future.

This weekend marks Duke University’s Centennial Founders’ Day and Homecoming. Activities in addition to the Blue Devils’ 4 p.m. football clash with North Carolina include a panel discussion featuring Duke’s current and former presidents, the dedication of the George and George-Frank Wall Center for Student Life, a Founders’ Day Celebration and Concert and a Centennial Founders’ Day Chapel Service.

During Saturday’s game versus the Tar Heels, Duke will honor many prominent figures from its first 100 years.
