The New Orleans Saints will have a new look in Monday night’s game with the Kansas City Chiefs. For the first time this season they’re breaking out their fan-favorite “Color Rush” uniforms, but there’s a catch — the Saints are still using the divisive black helmets, which clash with the white-and-gold jerseys. That’s the message All-Pro special teams ace J.T. Gray shared with fans on social media.
Of course all that matters is whether the Saints win. The problem is the Saints haven’t won a game yet while wearing these black helmets. If you’re superstitious, they’ve gone 0-3 in them. Look good, feel good, play good. Isn’t that what Deion Sanders said?
