Let’s just say it as it is. The Ohio State Buckeyes are destined for the College Football Playoff and today showed why. They may have let Iowa hang around for 30 minutes but quickly proved why they are among the nation’s elite.
Their defense was suffocating and allowed Iowa no room to breath. Even more impressive is their offense. When Iowa shut down the run game, they threw to star wide receivers Emeka Egbuka and Jeremiah Smith. When that was covered pre-snap, they pounded the rock with Quinshon Judkins and TreVeyon Henderson at will.
This team has it all and is going to be playing late into the season in the College Football Playoff.
