Penn State football postgame report card after the UCLA game

Did Penn State find its new kicker? Who knows, but was refreshing to see Ryan Barker convert both of his field goal attempts and knock down three extra points. Barker earned another shot at the job going into next week’s game at USC.

The kick and punt return game didn’t amount to much, which has been the norm for Penn State. Quinton Martin Jr. had one kickoff return in the absence of Singleton, and Zion Tracy’s three punt returns netted 11 yards, with a long return of nine yards.
