Urban Meyer has been announced as one of the 2024 inductees to the Orange Bowl Hall of Fame.
Meyer is joined in the 2024 class by former USC quarterback Matt Leinart and former University of Miami defensive tackle Vince Wilfork. The 2024 Hall of Fame class will join 136 others who have made a significant impact on Orange Bowl since its inception in 1935.
The three will be honored in an on-field ceremony at the 2025 College Football Playoff Semifinal at the Capital One Orange Bowl on January 9, 2025 at Hard Rock Stadium in the first year of the 12-team playoff.
Meyer led the Florida Gators to a 24-14 victory over the Oklahoma Sooners in the 2009 BSC National Championship, hosted by the Orange Bowl, securing his second national title in three years. Over his storied career, Meyer built a legacy defined by three national championships and an overall record of 187-32.
