This news comes just days after St. Louis added WR Andy Isabella, another former NFL draft pick. General Manager Dave Boller has been quite aggressive in adding free agent talent, targeting some legitimately big names – some of the biggest we’ve come across in this scene.
Mims was an absolute star in college, at Baylor. He played there for four years, totaling 2,925 receiving yards and 28 touchdowns. In his senior season alone, Denzel racked up 1,020 yards and 12 scores. This led to Denzel being drafted by the New York Jets in the 2020 NFL Draft, with the 59th overall pick.

Due to an injury in Training Camp, Denzel didn’t see the field until midway through the year. He eventually saw some action, posting 357 yards in 2020.
In his three year career with the Jets, Denzel compiled 676 yards and no touchdowns. He never really got the opportunity to develop much, with the quarterback carousel and issues that New York faced on that end.
