– Another sweet stop by Winters on a screen, but Bosa was lined up offsides. He does that a lot.
– Two offsides penalties on the 49ers’ defense. This time it’s Kevin Givens. They cannot keep giving Kansas City free yards.
– Now a 12-men on the field penalty on the 49ers. A coaching abomination on this series.
– Easy Chiefs touchdown on an inside run by Hunt. It was a mostly easy drive with jet sweeps killing the 49ers’ defense. Then the penalties only made life simpler for Kansas City. This might get ugly.
– Another throw for Purdy is batted down.
– Purdy followed that up with a dime to WR Brandon Aiyuk and he dropped it. Absolutely brutal. That might have been a touchdown.
– Huge punt return for the Chiefs with WR Mecole Hardman. They’ll be set up at the 49ers’ 30. These are the kind of mistakes a team can’t make against Kansas City, and the 49ers continually make them.
– Another Chiefs touchdown after the punt return gave them a short field. This one feels over. San Francisco has nothing on either side of the ball.
– Another big run is negated by a holding call on Trent Williams. San Francisco needed to be perfect and they’re playing their worst game of the season.
– Big throw to George Kittle for 22 yards on a first-and-20. Maybe that will loosen something up for the 49ers’ offense.
– Purdy just took a sack on a play where the 49ers doubled the edge rusher and it didn’t work.
– Bosa gets in the backfield again on a third-and-8 to force a throwaway on the first play out of the two-minute warning. Really nice job by the 49ers’ defense.
– The 49ers got another penalty on the punt. George Odum was whistled for holding.
– First target for Pearsall and he wasn’t even looking for the ball. The 49ers receivers just cannot separate.
– Second target for Pearsall was caught for six yards. Really cool moment for him.
– Huge shot play for Kittle to pick up 41 on a third-and-4. Had Purdy hit Kittle in stride it would’ve been a touchdown, but the 49ers will take a chunk play after struggling to move the ball all afternoon.
– Oh no. Aiyuk took a low hit to the knee that bent his knee in a bad way. Deebo Samuel is already in the locker room…
