USC football and Oklahoma football are both at rock-bottom right now, or if not, they’re very close. The Trojans and Sooners are reeling. USC lost to Maryland this past weekend. Oklahoma got drubbed at home by South Carolina. Lincoln Riley and Brent Venables are both enduring disastrous seasons. Fans at both schools are miserable. Signs of a quick turnaround don’t exist. Oklahoma has watched Georgia and Tennessee win huge games to rise in the SEC.
