Lamar Jackson is 2nd ranked NFL QB by total QBR entering Week 8

Week 8 of the 2024 NFL season is set to begin on Thursday night, and the Ravens are beginning preparation for a critical Sunday afternoon matchup against the Cleveland Browns.

Baltimore is 5-2 on the season, and after a thrilling 41-31 win over the Buccaneers, Lamar Jackson has some experts predicting back-to-back MVPs.

When evaluating quarterback play, a trusted metric is the Total QBR rating, which does more than consider statistics.

According to ESPN, Adjusted Total Quarterback Rating (QBR) “values the quarterback on all play types on a 0-100 scale adjusted for the strength of opposing defenses.”

So where do Jackson and other NFL quarterbacks, including the Cowboys’ Dak Prescott, Eagles’ Jalen Hurts, 49ers’ Brock Purdy, Bills’ Josh Allen, Commanders Jayden Daniels, and Chiefs’ Patrick Mahomes, rank entering Week 8 of the 2024 NFL season?

Here’s a look at the QBR ratings for all 32 NFL quarterbacks going into Week 6 of the 2024 season and ahead of the Vikings vs. Rams.
