St. Louis Battlehawks Sign Former NFL EDGE Kemoko Turay

The St. Louis Battlehawks have been on a roll in signing high quality talent. Most recently, EDGE Kemoko Turay has agreed to terms with the Battlehawks for the 2025 UFL season, as another former NFL draft pick who lands with the team. The transaction was first reported by Mike Mitchell of UFL on SI.

Kemoko played the entirety of his college football at Rutgers. He had an impressive freshman campaign, posting 25 tackles and 7.5 sacks despite not making any starts. However, the next couple of years didn’t see too much production from Turay, due to injuries and circumstances outside his control.

It was during his senior season that Kemoko put himself back on the map of NFL organizations. Turay logged 60 tackles and three sacks, starting in nine of 12 games played that year.

This led to the Indianapolis Colts drafting Kemoko in the 2nd round of the 2018 NFL draft. Turay immediately made an impact with the Colts that season, totaling 15 tackles and four sacks, making three starts.

Kemoko Turay remained with the Colts for a few years, but had his career interrupted once again due to injury. In 2019, he suffered a broken ankle, ending his season early.
