Harris and Brooks received the nod prior to the Falcons’ loss to the Seattle Seahawks in Week 7 and their win against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 8.
Harris appeared in both of those last two games, taking a combined 44% of the defensive snaps. He was credited with two tackles and a quarterback hit.
Brooks also appeared in the Falcons’ last two games, taking 60% of the special teams snaps, but did not record any stats.
The Falcons-Cowboys game is scheduled for 1 p.m. ET Sunday and set to air live on FOX from Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
Previous 2024 practice squad elevations include:
- Week 1: cornerback Kevin King and wide receiver Chris Blair
- Week 2: safety Dane Cruikshank
- Week 3: none
- Week 4: offensive lineman Matt Hennessy
- Week 5: Hennessy and inside linebacker Josh Woods
- Week 6: Hennessy and King
- Week 7: Harris and Brooks
- Week 8: Harris and Brooks
As a reminder, teams can elevate up to two practice squad players per game. Each player can only be elevated a max of three times. If a fourth time comes up, the player must be signed to the active roster.
