For the first time since the 2021 season, the Washington Commanders have swept the New York Giants after Sunday’s 27-22 victory. Washington improves to 7-2 on the season for the first time since 1996.
Things don’t get any easier for the Commanders. Next week, Washington hosts the 6-2 Pittsburgh Steelers, who’ll be coming off a bye week. Then, four days later, the Commanders are on the road in Philadelphia for their first NFC East battle with the Eagles this season.
Despite dominating portions of each game, Washington’s last two wins have been more challenging than expected. Yet, these are the types of games the Commanders always lost. Having quarterback Jayden Daniels has changed everything for Washington.
