On Thursday, the UFL announced that the Michigan Panthers had added two new faces to their front office. Scott Schiff and Jeremiah Hergott have been hired by the league to help improve and facilitate the team’s business operations.
Seeing roles like these filled by the UFL is great news as we head towards 2025. One of the largest setbacks for the league in season one was their lack of local marketing and promotion. This was partially due to the merger itself causing things to be behind schedule. That said, the UFL certainly dropped the ball in certain markets, with Michigan being one of them.
Scott Schiff is joining the Panthers as Vice President of Team Business & Event Operations, while Jeremiah Hergott is going to serve as the Director of Marketing. Having people like Schiff and Hargott – with the experience they already have – is exactly what the UFL needs heading towards a crucial season two. Local marketing will make or break the league and it’s potential to grow moving forward.
