Should the season end today, the Texans would play host to the Ravens in the AFC Wild Card Round. The Ravens haven’t had their bye week yet, hence why Pittsburgh is game ahead in the standings despite having the same number of victories.
The Steelers, who have yet to play a divisional game, could also be the No. 5 seed given head-to-heads. Starting in Week 11, six of Pittsburgh’s eight remaining games are against AFC North teams. The other two are against the undefeated Chiefs and a 7-2 Philadelphia Eagles squad at Lincoln Financial Stadium.
