UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – Penn State senior tight end Tyler Warren was named Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week on Monday. Warren earned his second Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week award this season.
The Nittany Lions have earned six Big Ten weekly awards this year. Junior safety Kevin Winston Jr. was Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week following the West Virginia game, junior defense end Abdul Carter was Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week after the Illinois game and redshirt freshman kicker Ryan Barker was Big Ten Freshman of the Week following the USC game.

- Tallied eight receptions for 127 yards and a touchdown, while adding three rushes for 63 yards and a score, at Purdue.
- Earned fourth career 100-yard receiving game, tying Ted Kwalick (4; 1966-68) for the Penn State tight end record.
- Warren’s three 100-yard receiving games this season are the most by a PSU tight end in a season and the most by any PSU player since Jahan Dotson’s five in 2021.
- He hauled in his 16th career touchdown reception, tying Pat Freiermuth (16; 2018-20).
- Warren’s 48-yard touchdown run, his longest career rush, was his sixth career rushing touchdown and fourth this season.
- Since 1956, Warren is the seventh FBS true tight end with four rushing touchdowns in a season, joining Jaylen Samuels (NC State; 2015, 2016, 2017), Jordan Myers (Rice; 2021), Jordan Reed (Florida; 2010), Gerald Everett (South Alabama; 2015), Harold Fannin Jr. (Bowling Green; 2022) and James Mitchell (Virginia Tech; 2019).
- Since 1956, Warren is the only Big Ten tight end with four rushing touchdowns in a season, breaking a tie with Wisconsin’s Stu Voigt (3; 1968) and Maryland’s Chigoziem Okonkwo (3; 2018).
- All three of Warren’s rushes gained a first down and one went for a touchdown on Saturday.
- He has 16 rushes this season. He has gained 13 first downs and scored four touchdowns.
- Named a finalist for the Paul Hornung Award.
- Selected a semifinalist for the Mackey Award and Walter Camp Player of the Year Award.
- Tabbed Midseason All-American by the Associated Press (1st team), CBS Sports (1st), Pro Football Focus (1st), The Athletic (1st) and the Reese’s Senior Bowl.
