For the first time all year, the Oregon Ducks football team probably wished they had some of these transfers back on the team. The Ducks struggled offensively and could have used Dont’e Thornton or Seven McGee, but they are thriving at Tennessee and Albany, respectively.
Besides those two, most of the transfers are still trying to find their way with their new club with injuries or just deciding to redshirt this 2024 season. But it’s still fun to see how these former Ducks are doing elsewhere. Although they got beat for the first time all season, BYU is certainly glad Harrison Taggart joined up and where would LSU be without linebacker Bradyn Swinson?
It was a relatively quiet week for the transfers, but a few of them played in huge games that could have either conference championships riding on them or games that have playoff implications. Either way, it shows how high on the talent chart Oregon is recruiting these days and while it’s been a blast to cover the current Ducks, it’s also fun to cover some former players as well.
