TUCSON, Ariz. – Arizona wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan has been named one of 11 Semifinalists for the Biletnikoff Award, as announced today by the Tallahassee Foundation. The Biletnikoff Award is in its 31st season and honors College Football’s most outstanding FBS receiver regardless of position.
Tetairoa McMillan is second among wide receivers and third nationally in receiving yards (1,136). It is the first Biletnikoff Award semifinalists’ appearance of his collegiate career.
McMillan is third in program history with 3,240-career receiving yards. He is third in program history with 25-career receiving touchdowns. McMillan is 111 yards away from tying the program record, held by Receivers Coach Bobby Wade (3,351).
The junior wide out from Waimanalo, Hawai’i is seven receiving touchdowns away from tying the program record held by Juron Criner (32).
The semifinalists, finalists, and award recipient are selected by the highly distinguished Biletnikoff Award National Selection Committee, a group of 600 prominent college football journalists, commentators, announcers, Biletnikoff Award winners, and other former receivers.
