Dante Dowdell rumbles for second Nebraska touchdown

Nebraska football was able to score their second touchdown of the game courtesy of a tremendous effort by running back Dante Dowdell.

Dowdell was able to plow his way through the big hole created by the Huskers offensive line. He was then able to take the ball 23 yards into the end zone for the touchdown. It was his ninth touchdown of the season and gave Nebraska a 14-7 lead following the extra point. The Badgers would follow up with a field goal on the ensuing drive.

The Huskers showed a bit more balance offensively on Saturday in the early going. Dowdell was able to make his presence felt throughout the entirety of the first half and displayed dual-threat ability. The running backs were a focal point of the offensive scheme on Saturday.
