Even when the game was basically out of reach, Nixon never lost his intensity. Down by three touchdowns in the final quarter, McCaffrey broke off a run that would have been a significant gain if not for Nixon. Green Bay’s versatile corner never gave up the play, chasing McCaffrey down for the tackle and punching the ball loose in the process. Defensive lineman, Karl Brooks, who also showed great hustle on the play, recovered the ball. In addition to the forced fumble, Nixon appeared to have a solid day in coverage.
