EAGAN, Minn. — After playing just two games at U.S. Bank Stadium since Sept. 22, the Vikings have three consecutive home games on the way.
“We’re excited to play back at home and have the crowd noise, especially on defense,” safety Joshua Metellus said. “Last time we were in the building, I think we took an L?”
He paused for a second and was reminded that Minnesota (9-2) rebounded its only home loss of 2024 in Week 7 against Detroit by topping Indianapolis in Week 9.
“It’s been that long since we’ve been in a home game,” Metellus said.
While on the road for three consecutive weeks, this iteration of Vikings became the first group to face such a stretch since 2017 and 11th squad overall — as well as the first to win all three games.
Holding serve at home during the next three weeks could strongly position the Vikings in the NFC Playoff Picture.
