5 Tennessee players to know in Week 13

The Washington Commanders (7-5) will host the Tennessee Titans (3-8) at Northwest Stadium on Sunday, looking to avoid a four-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, they play a Titans team coming off their biggest win of the season. Tennessee went on the road and took down the AFC South-leading Houston Texans. Quarterback Will Levis outdueled fellow second-year QB C.J. Stroud, passing for 278 yards and two touchdowns.

Washington lost its third game in a row, all by one possession, to the Dallas Cowboys in one of the wildest finishes in recent NFL history. The Commanders’ offense didn’t come alive until the game’s final five minutes, but it wasn’t enough to hold off the Cowboys.

As we look ahead to Washington-Tennessee, here are five Titans to know in Week 13.

Earlier this season, Levis looked like a disaster. His turnovers remain a problem, and he takes too many sacks. Of course, if you’ve watched The Titans, you’d know that their offensive line, specifically the right side, is a disaster. Levis injured his shoulder and missed some time. He returned and looks like a different player in the last three weeks. Levis has completed 68% of his passes for 748 yards, five touchdowns, and two interceptions.

Levis has one of the strongest arms in the NFL and is athletic. He’s not afraid to force things due to his arm strength. He’s currently playing with more confidence than at any point in his brief career.

Tony Pollard is no stranger to the Commanders. After five seasons with the Cowboys, Pollard signed a multi-year deal to be Tennessee’s lead back, and he’s having a career season. The Titans have committed to Pollard in ways Dallas never did, and he’s rewarding them. Pollard has played Washington nine times, but most of that was as Ezekiel Elliott’s backup. Last season, he rushed for 79 and 70 yards in the two games vs. Washington. He also ran for a touchdown in each of those games.
