After sparking the 49ers with a handful of impressive runs, Christian McCaffrey looked like himself early in the game against the Buffalo Bills. On seven carries, McCaffrey rushed for 53 yards to go along with a pair of catches for 14 yards against the Bills.
However, the reigning Offensive Player of the Year’s night came to an end when he suffered a knee injury early in the game. After exiting the game and entering the blue medical tent, then to the locker room, Kyle Shanahan ruled McCaffrey out of the game after halftime.
Following the 49ers’ loss Shanahan revealed McCaffrey suffered a PCL injury that could sideline the start running back.
