In Arizona State’s 49-7 road win over Arizona, Skattebo was nearly unstoppable on his way to rushing for 177 yards and three touchdowns against the Wildcats. Skattebo was already named a Semifinalist for the Doak Walker and Maxwell Awards earlier in the year and is a strong candidate for the Heisman Trophy as he continues to add to a decorated 2024 campaign. Because of his efforts in the Territorial Cup victory, Skattebo received Big 12 Co-Offensive Player of the Week honors. He has now won the award five times this season and has been recognized more than any other Power 4 conference player.
